Where is Lagaan Falls Siquijor

Lagaan Falls Siquijor is located on the South side of the island, with the track starting just inland from the Siquijor Circumferential Road. It's closeby to other attractions like Cambugahay Falls, and the Enchanted Balete Tree.

Below I've pinned the exact location of the waterfall to help you find it.

How to Get to Lagaan Falls

For those of you already on Siquijor and planning to stay a few days exploring the island, then by far, the best way to do so is to rent your own motorbike.

You can get one in the main tourist hub of San Juan for 250-350 pesos per day. The ride from San Juan to Lagaan Falls usually takes 25 minutes on the Circumferential road.

You'll want to head to the pin above, where you can park your scooter for free.

Alternatively if you're not too keen on riding a motorbike, you can pay a tricycle driver 150 pesos to drive you to the trailhead.

Alternative: Best-Rated Siquijor Tour

Unfortunately, there aren't any guided tours to Lagaan Falls. However, if you're short on time, or if you'd just like to see the best Siquijor highlights, including a visit to Cambugahay Falls and the cliff jumps at Salagdoong Beach, then it might be a good idea to book a tour.

Note you can try your luck finding a guide in San Juan. Or, if you're still in Dumaguete then the one below is easily the best you'll find. It's got hundreds of bookings and a 4.9/5 star rating on Siquijor.

Lagaan Falls Entrance Fee: 30 PHP

When you arrive at the start of the trail, you'll pay the entrance fee and be given a paper ticket receipt. The entrance ticket is for Lagaan Falls itself, but parking your bike here is free.

You might also be offered to see the waterfall by a local guide. This is up to you but by no means compulsory.

After signing the entrance form, paying your fee, you're free to head down the 15 minute dirt trail down to the waterfalls.

The track is well-marked and easy to follow. The surrounding jungle is really beautiful and the sound of the gentle streams and distant waterfalls are magic.

Lagaan Falls Rope Swing

The first tier has the largest blue lagoon-style pool beneath it. I'd say it's about 2-metres tall and features a rope swing. You can also slide down the waterfall on the obvious slippery-dip which is a hit with locals.

Once you've had your fun at the first waterfall tier, I'd recommend continuing on down the same trail to the smaller waterfalls at Lagaan Falls Siquijor. Along the way, you'll spot more tranquil cold springs and large swimming holes to enjoy.

There are also plenty of tables to relax and enjoy lunch at.
