近日,玉柴船动与中集来福士签订了4台YCMP-WINGD 7RT-Flex50DF双燃料低速发动机商务合同,该机将装配于中集来福士承建的2艘5800m Lane RoRo滚装船上。
Recently, YCMP and the CIMC Raffles signed a commercial contract of four YCMP-WINGD 7RT-Flex50DF low-speed duel-fuel engines, which will be equip on two 5800m Lane RoRo Ships built by CIMC Raffles.
CIMC Raffles is a world-renowned EPC general contractor of offshore engineering. The 5800m Lane RoRo Ship undertaken the double-machine scull design and will be registered in Lloyd's Register. The vessel is 241.7 meters length, 35.20 meters breadth, with a lane of 5,800 meters and a speed of 20 knots (about 37 km/h). It is equipped with two C-type LNG storage tanks. The vessel is required to meet the Finnish-Swedish 1A Super ice class and anti-freeze requirements. It will be operated in the European waters after delivery and can operate normally in the harsh sea areas with an ice thickness of more than 1 meter. This is currently the world's largest new dual-fuel ro-ro ship and ice-class ro-ro ship.
The YCMP-WINGD 7RT-Flex50DF low-speed duel-fuel engine operates stably in gas mode over the entire load range, and the fuel and gas modes can be smoothly switched directly. In the gas mode based on the lean combustion principle (Alto cycle), sulfur oxides, The particulate matter is almost zero and can meet the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Tier III emission standards without any post-treatment measures. At the same time, the engine of this type also used a low-pressure gas supply system of not more than 16 bar, which is conducive to the safe and stable operation of the ship while meeting the emission regulations.
The low-speed duel-fuel engine of the project uses the latest IGPR design, which makes it easier to arrange the ship, simplifying the external system and reducing the workload of the shipyard. Since the delivery of the world's first 5RT-Flex50DF engine in 2015, YCMP has successfully delivered 8 DF engines for domestic and foreign users, which are installed in LNG carriers, chemical tankers and container ships.
The signing of this contract marks the recognition of YCMP by the world's leading ro-ro ship owners and shipyards, and continues to lead in the delivery and order volume of 50DF engines. YCMP will adhere to the core concept of “being reliable people and manufacturing reliable engines” and fully cooperate with shipyards, ship owners, classification societies, patent parties and other parties to ensure the success of this project.
